(I have been told to just scrap it!)

I have reached (or exceeded) my limit on "projects" and have decided to liquidate a few.
I bought this genset a few years ago (8/22/03) to restore, but as I get older, I just can't manage it.
I did work on it once in a while, but not enough to make much progress.
I believe this unit to be an excellent candidate for full like-new restoration at reasonable cost.
NDT Tires (OEM?) look pretty bad (weather-cracking), but appear solid enough for cautious transit to your place. No spare.
Uses same tires & wheels as Dodge M-37 3/4-ton Army truck. Wheel bearings and parking brakes appear to be in good condition.

2012 - Added a wheeled tongue jack. Makes it much easier to move around and hitch up.
2015 - Added civilian tail lights on drop-on safety reflector bar.

Here is what I have done so far:
* Acquired all available manuals (electronic format)
* Removed the generators, power wiring and switch box
** Re-mounted generators on trailer using new bolts & nuts
* Removed the tail lights, lifting rings, and rear parking leg.
* Removed, reconditioned and reassembled the transfer switch. (Needs testing)
* Started sandblasting and repainting the trailer
* Acquired a 7.5KW transformer to create neutral (derived ground) for home use
** Added bracket and panel and mounted transformer
* Disassembled and repainted some of the tail lights
* Sandblasted and repainted battery area on one genset
* Removed gas can holders from trailer
